About the
Pre-school
The Rowans preschool is an
Ofsted registered (and Outstanding rated) preschool, able
to accommodate 32 children between the ages of 2 and 5
years.
We are a play based preschool. We have highly qualified staff with many years of experience. We accomadate 2 year old funded children, and children who are entitled to 30 hours funding.
Our mission is for children to reach their full
potential and learn skills that will be the foundations for a
lifetime of learning.

Our
Day
Here is a sample of your child's morning timetable. This is what
normally happens but it is sometimes subject to change (if we have
a visitor or if we have some spontaneous learning activity such as
snow etc).

Ethos and Aims
The
Rowans Pre School is committed to providing all the children
in our care with resources and activities which will support their
development and education across all seven areas of learning.
We aim to do this by providing lots of opportunities for self
selection and independent learning through our long term planning,
also by observing the children and planning focused activities and
adult lead activities with resources that follow the children’s
interests and needs. We offer learning through play, and we are
guided by the Early Years foundation stage which is the current
government legislation.
